Deli-style Pastrami & Pickled Red Cabbage Sandwich

Create your own deli special with a twist on the classic pastrami sandwich that’s every bit as eye-catching as it is delicious.

Pretzel Hot Dog Buns
4 Pretzel Hot Dog Buns
4 tbsp (60 mL) spicy mustard
150-200 g (5-7 oz) deli-style sliced pastrami, warmed
1 cup (250 mL) pickled red cabbage, drained well
Cut hot dog buns in half along seam to open up as sandwiches.
Spread 1 tablespoon of spicy mustard on the bottom of each bun.
Roll each slice of pastrami and arrange on top of bun side with mustard. Repeat with other pastrami and buns.
