Rosemary, Parmigiano & Sea Salt Focaccia Croutons

Our seasoned focaccia is the perfect start to crisp, savoury croutons that elevate an array of dishes, from soups to salads to appetizers, to new heights.


Ingredients
  • 1 Bon Appe Artisan Rosemary & Sea Salt Pull-Apart Focaccia
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) freshly grated Parmigiano cheese
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Italian herb seasoning

Instructions
  1. Cut focaccia into bite-sized pieces to make about 6 cups. Use a fresh or even day-old focaccia for more crisp.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 °F. Cut focaccia along seams to form bite-sized cubes and place into a large bowl.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl until well blended.
  4. Drizzle over cubed focaccia and toss well to coat.
  5. Layer seasoned cubes in a single row over a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Serve over soup, salad or on their own as appetizers.
