Mini Fig & Prosciutto Tarts

The irresistible flavours of this sweet and salty combination built on a savoury herbed roll will leave your guests speechless, that is, until they come back asking for more.

Bon Appe Product:  Rosemary & Potato Focaccia Rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 Bon Appé Focaccia Potato & Rosemary Roll
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) ricotta cheese
  • 4 slices prosciutto, cut in half
  • 4 fresh figs, cut in half
  • 1 bunch fresh baby arugula
  • Appetizer picks (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. Cut the focaccia roll into quarters, so you’ll have 8 even square pieces. 2. Brush squares with olive oil and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until crisp. Let cool.
  2. Spread ricotta cheese evenly on squares. Top each with prosciutto, a few leaves of arugula and fig half. Secure with picks, if using.
