“Flipper” with Cream Cheese Icing & Bacon Bits

Just like the traditional Canadian delicacy, this version of a Beavertail, already filled with NUTELLA®, gets topped with bacon and maple syrup for that extra touch of Canadiana!


Ingredients
  • 4 Bon Appé Large Nutella Filled Croissant
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) icing sugar
  • 4 tbsp (60 mL) cream cheese
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • 4 slices bacon, crisped and crumbled
  • 3 tbsp (45mL) dry roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 4 tbsp (60 mL) maple syrup

Instructions
  1. Combine sugar, cream cheese and vanilla in a small bowl.
  2. Spread 1 tbsp cream cheese mixture on top of each croissant.
  3. Sprinkle bacon and peanuts on top of each croissant. Drizzle with maple syrup. Serve and enjoy.
